It Begins with Belonging
In Their Own Words

Through the six-stage process Jenn walked me through, the Lord began to draw out of me what only He knew was within — the real me, the person He says I am. Like the woman at the well in John 4, I didn't recognize what I was actually thirsty for until He named it. All I had to do was trust that as I drew nearer to Him, He would draw nearer to me.

What I discovered was that to know God is to love Him, and every part of me He uncovered was really revealing more of Himself. The journey shed light on areas He healed — parts of me that were thirsty in ways I hadn't even realized. Some of the truths were hard to face, but I learned to soak in His comfort instead of hiding from them.

I came to understand that uncovering my trauma, my anxiety, my performance-driven identity was Him filling that same well — with Himself. He revealed who He is first, and that is what has kept me anchored ever since.

I thought I understood the word ‘calling’ — I even took pride in it. Before this workshop, I thought I had everything figured out. I was always striving, yet weary and lost underneath it all. Then, meditating on John 15:4–5, something began to shift. Just as a branch cannot bear fruit on its own, I realized I can do nothing apart from Him.

That became a profound shift in perspective. I don't have to carry the weight of figuring everything out on my own — I can cast my burdens on Him and rest in His presence. He is the Source and the only Way.

Beyond the group sessions, Jenn also coached me individually, meeting me with so much patience and grace. Her guidance gave me space to slow down, listen, and let God speak into the places where I had been striving so hard to find my own answers.

I came to the first session feeling a bit lost, not knowing what to expect. I understood, conceptually, that we'd be walking through a process to discover a God-given purpose — but I couldn't quite get my head around what that meant for me. Through the teaching and reflection, I began to see patterns in my own story that I had never noticed before, tracing where God had already been at work.

By the end of the course, I had a much clearer sense of how God might want to use my experiences, my language skills, and my heart to serve others. My hope now is to keep growing in this direction, and to actually live out that calling step by step, even when it feels uncertain.

Before this program, I tied my self-worth to my work and service, judging my spiritual state by how much I could get done, and I stayed worn out from constantly performing. Through Jenn's teaching and reflection in this workshop, I was invited to slow down and re-anchor my heart — my value doesn't depend on visible results, but on being God's beloved child. That shift changed how I see myself, God, and the way I serve — I no longer hurry into tasks without first pausing to abide in Him. I'm truly grateful for the renewal this has brought to my walk with the Lord.

Before the cohort, I always measured my worth by what I was achieving or how others saw me. Through this experience, I've learned to root my identity more deeply in God and trust that my worth isn't something I have to constantly earn.

I now feel confident knowing my identity as one of God's children, with a much clearer sense of how to use the specific gifts He's given me to teach, encourage, and help others.

I'm so grateful to Jenn for being such an incredible leader through this course. Her wisdom and genuine care created a space where the rest of our group and I felt truly free to grow and step more confidently into the roles God is calling us to fulfill.
